Newborn Model Call: Winston Salem
For me the newborn phase was quiet and loud. Beautiful and exhausting. Endless and fleeting. My daughter would scream for hours but give me the most addictive snuggles. It was odd, praying that this time would be over quickly and yet clinging to it with everything I had.
That’s why purchasing a newborn photo session was the best decision I could’ve made. Every time I look at them, I’m transported back in time to treasure the phase I was too exhausted and worn down to treasure when I was in the trenches.
And that’s also why I am so excited about expanding my newborn services in 2026. I can’t wait to help mamas create memories that they’ll cling to for the rest of their lives. We’ll focus on writing a story in picture form, rather than creating the perfect photo. My newborn sessions are just another form of storytelling. I want to give you more than a photo, but an heirloom. Quietly powerful. Cinematic. I want to transform you back to this memory the instant you look at it.
If this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, I have a wonderful opportunity to tell you about. I am opening a newborn model call to a small number of families who feel aligned with the kind of work I’m creating and the stories I love to tell.
Who Am I?
First, let me introduce myself. I’m Erin, a lifestyle family and newborn photographer based in Winston-Salem. My work is rooted in connection, storytelling, and faith. I believe every family has a story worth preserving, and every new life is part of a much bigger one God is writing.
I don’t approach photography as something that needs to be perfect or posed. Instead, I focus on what’s real.
“Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me.” — Psalm 139:16
That verse has deeply shaped the way I view newborn photography. I firmly believe a newborn session should not be a checklist of poses, but an act of honoring life in its earliest form.
What’s Included in the Model Call

Families selected for the model call will receive:
- A full in-home newborn session
- 5 high-resolution, edited digital images with a print release
- Personal styling guidance to help you feel confident and prepared
Because this is a model call, selected families must be comfortable following the style guidance and allowing images to be used on my website, social media, and other promotional materials. This is a newborn model call for Winston-Salem families. For a regular session, I’d be happy to drive an hour to get to you. However, I want to keep this for local families.
The Families I’m Looking For
To create a well-rounded newborn portfolio, I’m selecting families in the following categories:
- Family #1: Two parents with two or more children, including a newborn 4–14 days old
- Family #2: Parents in their 30s–40s, siblings optional, baby under 3 months
These criteria help ensure the images I create reflect a range of family experiences while staying aligned with my artistic vision.
My Approach to Lifestyle Newborn Photography
Okay, before you go, I want you to have an idea on what to expect from this session. I’m a lifestyle newborn photographer. That means my heart and soul is in creating a gallery that reflects YOUR FAMILY. I take photos in your home, because that’s where you live, interact, and create memories together. I photograph exclusively with natural light and minimal props because I want my clients to feel comfortable and candid.
I don’t rely on studio setups or heavily styled poses. Instead, I create images that feel timeless, nostalgic, cozy, and intimate.
There’s no rushing, no pressure, and no expectation that your baby behaves a certain way. Some babies cry, and that’s totally okay. We’ll still get beautiful photos.
Best of all, my sessions are “short.” By short, I mean around 1.5-2 hours. We’ll move at your baby’s pace, pausing for feedings, diaper changes, snuggles, and breaks as needed. But, because we aren’t committing to intricate, detailed poses, there’s no need to allot 5 hours for our sessions.
How to Apply

If you feel like this opportunity would bless you or someone you know, I’d love to hear from you. I’m posting the link below. Please feel free to email me or fill out my contact form for any questions.
Selected families will be notified directly, and session dates will be scheduled shortly after.
If You’re a Winston-Salem Mom, I’d Love to Chat
If you’re in the newborn season right now, I know how tender and overwhelming it can feel. This model call isn’t about creating something impressive, it’s about honoring your story. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for choosing to be a part of this.
